SERVICE CHARGES IN GENERAL:
HOUSE CALLS (on-site) - $65 per hr. by 1/2 hour increments,
plus a $10 Energy Surcharge, which is optional for Seniors, after one hour
of service.
-OR-
DROP-OFFS (The Tech Bench) - $55 /hour;
1 hr. minimum, then 1/2 hr. increments.

SPECIFIC CHARGES:
Diagnostic - $25 bench charge; waived if service is performed.

Virus &/or Spyware removal - $125; waived if W&R is required.
Please note disclaimer on sign-in sheet; in some extreme cases the O/S
cannot be repaired and would require a W&R.

Wipe & Reload (W&R) - $165 (includes reinstalling an O/S and drivers);
Customer must provide legitimate XP or Vista O/S.
(see note 1)

Data Recovery - $55/hr. (includes My Documents, My Pictures,
and Music etc., Favorites and e-mail Address-book (if possible),
and other data files listed by the customer.)

Note 1 - Many manufacturers did not update product drivers for the Vista O/S. For
example, a sound card from an older O/S may not have Vista drivers, which would
require a "random part install" at the hourly rate. Also, going from Vista to XP may incur
a similar charge, as some new systems have hardware that ONLY works on Vista O/S.
Note 2 - if the system does not "boot," we cannot recover program data that requires the
use of it's own backup utility and most e-mail and address-books (except Outlook
Express).
NOTE 3: For program upgrades and RAM install: unless customer supplies parts (RAM,
hard drive, jump drive, etc.) additional time will be required depending on method of the
part acquisition.
NOTE 4: This company is not responsible for quality or condition of parts that are not
new-in-box that are supplied by the customer. Programs must be legitimate OEM's.
